Tier 2 (General) Visa

The Tier 2 work permit category replaces the previous UK Work Permit scheme and forms a core component of the UK points-based system for managed migration.

To make a successful Tier 2 UK work permit application you must have received a confirmed offer of employment from a licensed UK employer and you must be in possession of a Certificate of Sponsorship issued by your sponsoring employer. You must also pass the points-based assessment.
